International MTB Festival (UCI S1 Event)

International Elite stage event ranked as cat. S1 in the UCI calendar /// Three-day MTB festival for every mountainbiking fan - spectators, hobby riders as well as world's best proffessionals.

4. - 6. June 2010 - Nové Město na Moravě, Czech Republic


Three MTB events in three days. The programme of the 2010 edition (UCI cat. S1) opens with the elite Sprint elimination races on Friday evening followed by a concert of one of the most popular Czech funky bands J.A.R. On Saturday the programme continues with the stage 2 organized as XCO event. Both the events, Friday's sprint and Saturday's XCO will be broadcasted live on the Czech national sports channel CT4. Saturday's racing will close down with the Bikenight party featuring live performance by the revival rock n' roll band MixAir. The festival's programme will close down on Sunday with traditional marathons over 40 and 80 km, followed by the closing stage of the UCI S1 event, XCP (cross country point to point) over 41 km.

There will be many other side events organized in the area of the Ski stadium in Nové Měste over the three days of the Merida Bike Vysočina festival: testing rides of terrain cars, testing of high-end Merida bikes from the 2010 collection, balloon flights, MTB kindergarden with special kid's singletrack and other.

Sunday 6. June 2010 (from 9:00)

Marathon for hobby riders over 80 and 40 km
UCI S1, Stage 3: XCP for 41 km, categories ELITE women, men
Dětské cyklistické dopoledne s Michalem Nesvadbou (od 9:00)
